Manuel Mobility (Manuel Fernandes)

  1. Area of application

The following General Terms and Conditions apply to private driver services provided under the designation Manuel Mobility (hereinafter “Manuel Mobility”).

  1. Booking and conclusion of contract

A vehicle and driver may be reserved by any means of communication provided on the website manuelmobility.ch and/or via Manuel Mobility’s social networks listed on this website (phone, email, contact form, etc.).

The booking is valid, and the contract is concluded only if the reservation has been confirmed by Manuel Mobility by email.

  1. Cancellation

In case of service cancellation:

  • Up to 48 hours before the scheduled time: no fee will be charged and the full amount prepaid will be refunded.
  • Between 48 hours and 3 hours before the scheduled time: 50% of the total booking amount will be charged.
  • Less than 3 hours before the scheduled time or in case of no-show: the full booking amount is due and no refund will be issued.
  1. Rates and scope of services

Rates for Manuel Mobility’s special offers (Flagship offer and Destinations of the month) are displayed online at manuelmobility.ch. Rates for any other Manuel Mobility services are provided on request by email or any other appropriate means of communication.

All rates are provided in Swiss francs, all taxes included.

The rates include the following services:

  • Clean and equipped vehicle of the selected category (Family, Business, Comfort, Group)
  • Fuel, Swiss motorway charges, vehicle and passenger insurance
  • Wi-Fi and chargers for mobile devices
  • iPad connected to the Internet with access to Spotify and Netflix

The rates do not include the following services:

  • Additional hours and kilometres
  • Parking, motorway charges (outside Switzerland), tunnel and ferry charges
  • Driver’s expenses: CHF 30 per meal (after four hours’ work), accommodation CHF 150 per night
  1. Flat rates

The rates include a specific number of hours and kilometres, specified in each case. If this number is exceeded, additional hours and kilometres will be invoiced. Waiting time is invoiced in proportion to the estimated additional hours.

  1. Airport transfers

On request, the driver will wait with a name panel at the exit, after baggage collection and customs. The waiting time included in the price is a maximum of 40 minutes after the flight’s arrival. CHF 100 per hour will be charged for additional waiting time (CHF 25 for each quarter hour begun).

  1. Itineraries

The rate includes the shortest and fastest itineraries between two destinations. If the passenger wishes to take an alternative route or make stops along the way, additional hours and kilometres will be invoiced.

  1. Vehicles

Vehicles are clean and equipped. The booked vehicle category is guaranteed, but not a specific vehicle or model. Manuel Mobility reserves the right to offer a free upgrade or, in exceptional cases, provide a comparable vehicle model.

  1. Complaints

If a journey or service is unsatisfactory, complaints must be submitted in writing within eight days of the service to the email address provided when booking.

  1. Means of payment

Accepted means of payment:

  • Credit or debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover/Diners, Union Pay
  • NFC Contactless Payments (Apple Pay and Android Pay)
  • Twint
  • Bitcoin
  • Cash in CHF or EUR (1 EUR = 1 CHF)
  • On invoice (from the third order onwards and only for Swiss-based enterprises)
  1. Liability

Manuel Mobility’s liability is limited to wilful intent and gross negligence. Liability for auxiliary staff is excluded.

Manuel Mobility is not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, breakdowns, incorrect collection or destination information, or any situation beyond its control.

  1. Third-party links

Manuel Mobility assumes no responsibility for the content of third-party websites linked or referenced in any way.

  1. Errors

Manuel Mobility strives to keep its website accurate and up to date. Despite the greatest care, errors or inaccuracies cannot be entirely ruled out.

  1. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

These General Terms and Conditions and contracts concluded under them are subject exclusively to Swiss law, excluding international private law rules. The place of jurisdiction is La Tour-de-Peilz VD, except where the Swiss Jurisdiction Act mandates otherwise.
